I attended the Stand With WV Women Rally Oct. 09, 2013 at Marshall University as a resident of WV I am not a student. 10 Tips To Protect Yourself In A Rape Culture.

Hey Sisters  I know it sucks that we even have to think about this sort of thing because boys should be taught not to rape. We  shouldn’t have to learn how help prevent tourselfs from being raped. I am a rape survivor and I want this post to be a learning tool for my sisters around the world to help prevent them having to go through what I went through. Gynotician?

I decided to share the word of the day with you today:

Gynotician- A politician who feels more qualified than women or their doctors to make women’s health care decisions.

All this legislation being passed to control women’s bodies is out of hand and setting us back 50 years. Politicians need to let doctors do their jobs. If a woman wants to take birth control or have a baby or give it up for adoption or have an abortion it is no ones business but hers, her partner and her doctor. more »
